Tansi! The word is of Cree origins, a word of welcome. I count among my ancestors, not the Cree, but the Mohawk Nation, one of the Nations which comprise the larger family called the Iroquois. As well as Mohawk ancestry, I trace my ancestors through the trail of stars that serve as walking path for the spirits.
