Mlach camth athrthi mini! Welcome to my domus! I am Tinscvil, Tanaquil's twin sister. I even adopted her husband's family name! That is more comfortable for the Roman tongue than my Etruscan family name Cilnei's.... Have a seat, eat and drink some! Where have you come from and where are you going? Are you going to stay in my house for a while?? If I'm not at home, don't worry...My servants will welcome you warmly on my behalf!

Fufluns was the Etruscan god of wine.
The linguist Giacomo Devoto has suggested a connection between the name of the god and the name of Populonia, a small Etruscan town on the coast of Tuscany - Flufluns became Fufluna, Pufluna, Pupluna, and finally Populonia.
A huge tree stump was discovered in the area around Populonia bearing the image of the Etruscan god. Now conserved in the Museum of Natural History in Florence, this remains as a testimony to the ancient and thriving wine-growing tradition of the Val di Cornia and the slopes of Populonia.

Etruria is famous for its olives and olive oil, too! If you never have tried Etruscan "cuisine" before, be my guest!!
