The Trophy Room
General
| Took the HBO Rome quiz. Sheesh ... I don't recall some of that stuff being explained in the series. It just happened. Oh, well, still got 80% right. *... |

Many, many thanks to Sementawy Horemheb for the gift of this poem. Seme always find the coolest stuff. She believes (with a little work) I could be a good Heathen. Plaque originally presented to me as Sankhkare Thutmose, displayed here by special permission of Seme' Heru-em-heb herself.
Kung Hei Fat Choi. Wanshang hao. Happy New Year and welcome to my home. Real life has struck and taken me out. *sigh* So, I'll only be here sporadically for awhile. But I'll check in as often as I can. Still, if I'm not here, come in anyway. Make yourself comfortable. Leave me a scroll. Just don't let Bao Bei eat all the guest refreshments!! Oh, and watch out for the Rat Brothers, Rat Shi Huang Di, Rat Tzu, Rat Zheng, and Rat Butler. They've been hiding out here since the Year of the Rat began. *sigh*
I think my time as a scribe here in the Orient was the most fun I've ever had. There's no place like the Orient and I'll be back here as soon as the world settles down for me. Shanti Ashoka painted this picture for me. (She's such a talented artiste!) I do believe she captured me, both in the before and after shots!! *lol*

Like my tiger? Aya Etana made him for me. She's a great lady, a terrific artist, and I'm told was one of the busiest scribes in Mesopotamia. (Of course, they're ALL busy scribes in Meso. Those people sure know how to party!) If you haven't met her yet, you should!
The former, self-proclaimed "moronic, goofy scribe of The Orient" Lalita Ashoka relegated me to the position of straight-man . . . in fact, she went so far as to dub me evil! She may come to regret this, however. Now that I'm no longer doing my apprenticeship as a scribe, I'm free to take up my mantle and truly become The Evil Emperor of the Orient! Watch out, Lalita! Mwah-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!
The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities...It is best to win without fighting. —Sun-tzu Wu
That symbol you see on the left is the word Dao in Zhuan shu calligraphy, which the ancient Chinese used for seals. I'm hoping that between that and the Tranquility that Kiyoko-san gave me (over there on the right), my visitors will be able to survive the wackiness that goes on in this place. But if it gets to be too much, you're welcome to rest in any of my rooms . . . although, I suggest you stay away from the Hall of Supreme Chats where the wackiness can REALLY get out of hand. *lol*
If you need to contact me, leave a scroll on the public board above or email me at
