Welcome! Welcome! I am Mei-Li Qin, a Hokkien Nonya from the Red Phoenix District. The meaning of my name is the Beautiful Plum Blossom.

Coming Spring 2008 - Mei-Li returns HOME!!!!

My ancesters were originally from Perak, but long ago moved my ancestral home to Penang. I call Malaysia home and travel about with the Istana Budanya - the Malaysian National Theatre.

Saya masih kerja-kerja di rumah saya (I am still working on my home) - but please, come in and visit. The heart of the home is only as warm of those of her visitors.

Please help yourself to the hospitality of my home - however, we seem to be a little short of food lately. Bao Bo has taken off with another and not left a durian rind in sight!
