Welcome to my Wasi. I've thoughtfully provided a spittoon, below, since I keep a clean Wasi. Remember, your aim is important!
I'm a female llama, since such may not be evident to unobservant human eyes. For those unfamiliar with my kind, we stand at human height (helps with the spitting, for those of us so inclined); and we have long luxuriant wool which can be spun into fine fiber. Our young are called "crias", just as your young are called "ankle-biters". Or, so I've been told. In ancient Incan and pre-Incan times, we mostly served as pack animals. We were eaten on occasion, but since we were more useful as pack animals, I'd prefer not to dwell on that, thank you very much!
We're camelids, related to the Mideastern camels, as are Peruvian alpacas. We have a better disposition than camels, however, only spitting when it is extremely necessary.
We are a neat and tidy animal, preferring, like cats, to leave our business in discrete locales, rather than just plopping it everywhere we tred. We're vegetarian, and good at it.
We make good guard animals, too, effective without the braggadoccio and noise of your everyday dog. We tend to observe a lot, without telling you exactly what we are thinking, and normally we don't mind being stroked. However, we are a bit head-shy, so patting me on the head is right out! (Remember, I am at face level to yours!)
