I am called Amlawdd Wledig (Imperator). I was born in Caer Gloui, but I make my home in Ynys Witrin, the hillfort of Glastenning country, in the West. Since the High King has died, his Cymbrogi (Knights) and I have taken up the business of keeping peace in Britain. My territory stretches from Caer Uisc to Caer Baddan, where Arthur and his nephew Medrawd fell.
There is talk of deciding on a new High King, but this seems a difficult challenge with the island divided between Medrawd's army, Arthur's loyalists, the Bretwalda Aelle's forces in the East and the Dalriada in the North.
We shall see.
