Welcome to the home of Drakus Domitius. I am a long time inhabitant of Rome, and player of Imperium: The Game of Rome, where my character, Drakus Domitius Cordatus is currently the first man in Rome.
Cordatus, has had a long and glory filled career. He has been elected dictator twice, consul twice and censor once. He has celebrated a triumph and an ovatio, reduced Gallia Narbonensis into servitude and made it into a province. He has filled with dignity and honor every position he has been elected to. Currently Drakus Domitius Cordatus is the Pontifex Maximus of Rome, as well as the Princeps Senatus.
With the death of his son Caius Domitius (killed while serving in the legions in Illyria), Drakus adopted a son, Marcus Domitius. Marcus served with distinction in Illyria, and has returned to Rome, where he has been entrusted to fill the role of Race Aedile, vacated after the untimely death of the previous Aedile. Much is expected of Marcus Domitius, especially as rumors abound that old man Cordatus may retire in a year or two.
I am also a member of The Academy, which discusses military history, with an emphasis on the ancient world, and Valinor which discusses the works of the master, J.R.R. Tolkien.
I am also a member of several other groups here at Ancient Worlds. Feel free to look around my house. While it is by no means the most beautiful in Rome, I feel it has a certain charm.
