The above words by the Pictish chief Calgacus are recorded by the Roman enemy in the words of Tacitus and are a perfect example of the obscurity and legendary status held by the Picts almost 2,000 years ago.

Welcome to the home of Verica Cruithni! When I was taken hostage by Clan Niafer, their war chief Dobhar claimed me as his prize. In my own land I was a princess, but among the Irish I was little more than slave. Now I have returned to Pictland to reclaim my rightful place!
The journey takes me traveling through many different places in Celtia.
