It is a poor woman who is seduced into bed with Zeus, the father of all gods and goddesses. I was a poor farm girl when he came, disguised as a traveler to my father's house. He seduced me into the barn with him that night, and when I awoke the next morning, he was gone. Hera, being the jealous wife that everyone knows she is, turned on me with vengeance for spending the night with her husband. She cursed me to live my life as a freakish shape shifter, and to fulfill the curse and break it, she said, "Only on a full moon, when there is a great storm on Mount Olympus, shall you quest to break this spell... for shall you climb, as mouse in form, and drink the wine from my filled cup." But of course, every full moon where there has been a storm, and I begin my climb, once at the top, she awaits with her cup of wine, and each time she sets it down for me to drink, to my horror I behold... the cup indeed is empty.
