I, Zohra of the clan Assurbanipal and Keeper of the Tuarag Traditions Welcome you into my home.
It would honour me greatly if you would stay for at least three days as custom dictates.
You may avail yourself of my hospitality as much as you like. A meal will be prepared for you immediately after you have washed and rested.
If you would care to accompany me after your meal, I will provide entertainment and dancing.
Tomorrow perhaps you will join in on our Falcon hunt or ride one of our white racing camels that are the pride of my people. If you need anything just ask.
We Tuarags have been around a long time.
We speak Berber, though the Romans call us barbari. Our men wear blue dyed veils, and our women cover only our hair. We are well established merchants, so many of our women wear brightly coloured scarves and jewelry imported from all over the world.
Here to insult the daughter of a family means restriction from our proud hospitality and even death! The women are the inheritors of our people, and we put much importance on them.
