今日は。どうぞよろしく。ご機嫌はいかがですか。
Welcome to the castle of Himeji-jo! To the people of my fiefdom it is also known as Shirasagi-jo, the Fortress of the White Heron, for when viewed from a certain vantage point it is said to resemble that elegant bird with both wings outsretched. Although its formidable defences have yet to be tested in battle, I am confident that Himeji-jo's labyrinthine network of walls, moats, passageways and courtyards will enable us to withstand any siege.
As you wander through this magnificent feudal stronghold you will discover places that serve as my homebase for certain activities. In the White Room of Peaceful Contemplation (Courtyard) I conduct my social activities here at AncientWorlds and in the Orient. The Yellow Room of Profound Wisdom (Library) is for my historical and academic pursuits. Finally, in the Brown Room of Silent Erudition (Study) you will find my game playing scores, statistics and artefacts.
The lovely woman standing beside me is Lady Haruko, my wife and mistress of the castle. Allow her to escort you to the White Room for some tea and cakes. Her lady-in-waiting will serenade you with sweet music from a shamisen as you relax in the shade of our beautiful cherry trees. Thanks for visiting our home!
