The British museum
WALTER B. EMERY began a series of digs back in the early 30's at Sakkara. He uncovered no fewer than fourteen de lux mastabas belonging to various members of the royal family and magnets of the court. Yet there was one who intrigued him above all others. The one whom many had searched for in vain. If Zoser lay under the Step Pyramid, his vizier must be somewhere nearby.
