The month of the windy moon
The windy moon of March brings brings the beginning of the new lunar season to The Tsalagi Peoples. It is at this time when we pile the ashes from our hearths upon the mound of Kituwah to renew it and build it higher. At the spring solstice we hold the ceremony of the new fire. We bring coals from the fire of the year and keep them burning in our hearths. Post here about a nu yi, the moon of March. |
