Eirene's State of Delivery
The time of delivery is drawing near! Eirene is in a condition divided between being awfully tired of carrying around the burden of two little ones inside her and the tension and excitement of giving birth soon. It won't be long now, folks...Nature is giving my sweet love huge feelings of longing for her kids and caution to make sure things will go well. I am kept outside of the house by the tons of women haveing been drawn near by Eirene's exceptional nature call. I roam the streets with some old comrades, Vorenus mostly. He is trying to reassure and convince me, that all will be well and that women know best what will have to happen now and that my place should not be at the side of my love right now. Well, I don't believe him, although I want to, coz I know he only means well...So we visit all the local cauponae of the Lower Aventine and the Subura, getting into a pre-ebriate state to warm up for Saturnalia. I look at nice women passing by and waving at me, but for once in my life, my mind is set to only one thing: ...my lovely and sweet young wife at home, lying in our bed and getting up now and then, anxiously waiting for the first contractions to come. Then the pandemonium will start...oh, if I only could help her get through the ordeal. I wish all this would be over...And that I could kiss Eirene and hug her and hold the newly born babies in my arms and be the happiest dad in the universe! Yay!
Read about Eirene and me getting through the whole cac here, folks! In between of all the Saturnalia hubbub, I will get to become a parent as well! The gods plan big deals for us then!!!
