The Sumerian people were practicing law and had formed many firsts in government before other cultures.
There are many different aspects of "law" in Sumer that are buried in the mists of time. Before Hammurabi, there were others such as the laws of Ur-Nammu. Under this topic, we will explore Sumerian government and laws.
