The party is about to begin. The wine flows, the musicians play, the souvlaki is always hot and ready. Close? This is Macedon; we never close, the party is 24/7. Drink the fine Macedonian wine. Enjoy the good food, Put your arms around your neighbors and dance the ancient dances. Break some cups. Hoopa! You are among friends here. We are Macedones: we party till we drop on the floor. When you are with us, guest friend, you are one of us. See the wine cups on the wall over the bar? Each holds a quart. In Macedon there is never any water in the wine; we give that to babies and Greeks. Drink friend, eat, dance, celebrate life, don't shrink from it; hold it hard with all your strength. Live and be a Macedone for a while. Hoopa!
