Have a horse shod or a custom weapon made.
The master smith Weyland the Waetling was uncle to Eorl Wulder, but he was murdered by the trickster, Loftur (Loki).
Since Weyland's death, the forge was turned over to a family of svartálfr - the Bristlings. These dark-elves come highly recommended from Woden. They are makers of fine weapons, armor, galder, and other items known for their eldritch properties.
Witege, son of Weyland, has since returned to Ulfdael and claimed his birthright as Frea-smith, Master Smith of the Waetlings. In a contest of skill, Witege forged a far superior weapon to that of the Bristlings. Weyland's son received the key to the smithy from Eorl Wulder, and the svartálfr are now his servants.
