My name is Kringle, Kris Kringle.
We have never met, but I'm sure you know my brother. He's the big guy with the red suit and the deer.
He's just a front man though. Don't look so surprised!
Did you really think a guy who eats that many cookies could get down your chimney? And
those flashy clothes, ugh! That's what comes from letting his wife dress him.
Anyway, I do all the real work on Christmas Eve.
This year however, I am a little short-handed.
The whereabouts of my usual contacts are unknown.
One of them seems to have had an unfortunate accident involving a
peppermint stick and a tub of hot chocolate...don't ask!
I need someone to help with a gift exchange mission.
Don't worry, I'll handle the dangerous bits.
Your job will be very simple - you give something, you get something!
Here's the plan:
Between now and December 20th at 00:00 AW Time,
those interested in participating may sign up by emailing awgermania@hotmail.com
(Sshhhh…keep this under your hat, I am a secret agent, remember?)
Pay attention, this part is important.
In that email, give me the name of the persona you wish to enter.
(Don't worry, I won't tell anyone even if they torture me with fire ants and piranha fish).
If you however, choose to sign up on this thread, you MUST include an email address.
On December 20th, everyone who enters will be thrown into my hat,
well, not literally – just their names.
I'll draw the names from the hat and send you an email with the name of the persona to whom you
will give a secret gift.
You will be their Klandestine Kris Kringle.
Your mission is to decide what gift, or gifts, to give.
(it can be an image, poem, story, whatever) and you may (but are not required to) include
clues about who you are.
Once you have finished your gift, you will again send it to my email address to be posted.
Again, don't forget to include in the subject line something about Kris Kringle or gifts.
Email it to me by December 23th.
The gift you send will be posted to this thread during Yule, that is between December 21st & 23rd.
You will get a gift too, which may contain clues as to who sent it to you, so watch this thread.
Recipients may try to figure out your identity too.
But that is okay, if they do I know a safe house where we can hide you.
Of course you may have to bunk with a bunch of elves...
To thank you for taking part in this very dangerous mission we, the elves of Germania,
