How good writing makes the difference between understanding and misunderstandinc
Clear writing is a very important element of thought development. When we explore ideas and concepts the ability to explain them is paramount. Without this ability our thoughts can't be shared and others will think we are mad.
As we learn to read and write we are taught the art of expressing ourselves on paper. We could write an entire text without any punctuation, paragraphs or spaces between words as was done in the past. This is extremely hard to understand though. That is why when trying o write clearly we must use certain codes and conventions which are agreed upon. It gives the reader time to breath, to absorb ideas.
Good writers have an ability to explain with simple language how things work, what is important about them. In so doing their knowledge is made available to a great number of people.
Obscure, long winded, badly written texts are hard to understand and chances are people will give up on what they are reading. There is no point in writing without clarity.
Of course writing ties into this theme, thread and topic because anyone who writes must be clear, must be interesting so that the threads, books and plays are not disguarded as a waste of time.
