Ogham

Discussions -currently- relate to each letters association to a different tree as well as the mystical, medicinal, and practical aspects of the letters/trees.
The pre-Christian letters of the Irish Celts are called Ogham (pron."OH-ahm"), and they related to different trees, each with their own medicinal values, magical properties and relationship to the Daoine Sídhe (Tuatha Dé Danann). Debate is on the table as to when and where this alphabet originated.
