Our mission is to build AncientWorlds to be a sustainable, economically viable community that may endure and improve over time.

We must balance the financial needs of paying salaries, equipment costs and hosting fees with the desire to keep the cost as low as possible for the membership.
Although CyberSites as an economic entity exists no more, we are interested in recognizing the great contribution the original Patrons of AS made to that site. At the same time we must balance this desire with the need for this site to be supported by its membership.
This site participates in no way with the economic fortunes or misfortunes of AS. As a separate entity, AncientWorlds needs to become viable and sustainable on its own steam. To this end, we propose an annual or monthly recurring subscription through PayPal, or an annual subscription by check or money order, that will allow people to pay for this service as they go.
We do not have records of the subcription dates from AS. We are offering to extend free service at AW to the Patrons of AS for fixed periods of time based on their member level. These terms will be as follows: Bronze patrons will have their terms extended to December 2, 2002; Silver Patrons's extension will be until January 2, 2003; and Millennium Patrons' subscription will be extended to May 2, 2003. These periods will be in addition to the one free month that all people signing up for the site receive.
Patrons who wish to help out sooner with this effort to fund the site will have the opportunity to subscribe at any time.
