    Usu. May. 1 in Gregorian calendar. This Great Fire Fest (3rd) was a fertility rite where the land, the crops were blessed to assure a good harvest through the celebrants and their "joinings".

    Marking the arrival of Spring. This was oft to be -as with Oíche Samhna- a very high energy ceremony.
