A place to exhibit, discuss, and muse about some notable torsos. And why, though as Michelangelo lamented, the Greek or classical originals were "lost" - broken by accidents of man or nature, since the Renaissance they have been so admired that sculptors have deliberately created them - as if to prove the torso is the purest and most potent way to celebrate the human form and spirit.
