You select 3 items from our menu, you write your way through that meal! It's harder than it sounds lol

    Disclaimer! honorable Vietnamese cooking

Walk away, ye of the faint of heart and fluttery of stomach.

Nuoc Nam - Popular condiment consumed with nearly every meal made from fermented small, whole fish and seafoods in clay bins for up to 2 years, then siphoned off, filtered and bottled. What results is a spicy, fishy, pungent sauce. Nuoc Nam, or Fish Sauce, is a distinctly Vietnamese product closely resembling the ancient Roman condiment 'garum' it is derived from.

And you thought Scottish food was based on a dare?

World travellers who have formed a fondness for the unique culture and friendly people of Vietnam are familiar with it's interesting cuisine, street foods and strange ingredients. Sometimes those foods result in a suprising tasty dish, and sometimes.. not so much.

Your challenge today is to write your way through 3 of the crazy dishes listed below using 1-3 posts

. Which dishes are your choice. (State which dishes you are ordering from Chez le Ewww in your posts). Describe the service, the food, how you managed to choke it down (or not!), your enjoyment of the cuisine (hey, maybe you liked it!), your surroundings if you wish. But whatever you do, don't insult your hosts! They worked very hard to prepare these dishes and besides, one man's dog food may be another man's delicacy.
