I have never had a problem with squirrels in my tomatoes in all the years I have had both in the back yard. I didn't even know they bothered them. Maybe it's all the cats sitting in the garden that saves me.I have had to give up growing corn because of the raccoons. They wait until it is almost ready to pick and then tear every ear off the stalk and throw them on the ground. 4 or 5 years in a row of that and I just gave up and drove to the roadside stand. The Racoons won.Atmosperic conditions at this time of year make the skies a light show. The sunset last night was so spectacular at dinner that they mentioned it on the local news. I turned and looked out the west windows and it looked as if California was on fire. (It Was.)Thanks for the cookies, Moonbeam. They are up in the cookhouse.
