Miko and her twin sister Midory had celebrated Aiko´s 18th birthday but being a bit more traditionalist than her they had drink much less and had no hangover, the Minamotos did not belong to the Dragon Clan but to the Crane Clan, rather than the agresive style of the dragons the Cranes had a most tactical way of fighting.

The newspapers were telling about a couple girls missing about the same age of them but more shocking they where also telling about a horrible crime, something -they was sure it could not being human- had ripped an American tourist to shreads and had fed on its flesh in a local hotel near Ashi´s bar, the whole room was spilled with blood from the carpet to the cealing, more curios, the hotels manager received complaints about loud noise in the so telling room and when he went to hush them and opened the door he found the dead body but whatever had done it was gone apparently jumped off the window (it was a ten floor jump), the zoologist called to investigate this incident declared that the pawprints and bitemarks were consistent with a very oversized *Genus Vulpes* a fox, but the size and strenth of the creature and the fact that it seems to be walking in two legs were more consistent with an oversized primate of some kind.

Midory and miko knew that Aiko would be needing a wake up call or she will be arriving late at school, when they arrived at Aiko´s door they met Master Azuma Kotoku (Aiko´s gradfather) they almost didn´t recognize him in regular clothing, the three of them respecfully shared bows and went in, Master Azuma did not lived there but he had a key just in case Aiko would need him and perhaps today she will.

Aiko was laying on a sofa with a bag of ice on her head and wearing a white long sleeve shirt that looked somehow manly, she manage to speak and said -Plz Grandpa no lectures infornt of my friends I know it was stupid to drink that much...hello girls-

Master Azuma ponderated Aiko´s words for a moment then said -Stupid, yes that´s what I said after I got drunk on my 18th bithday, by the shirt you´re wearing and the smell of tea and soup from the kitchen I deduce you´re not alone- Midory and Miko looked at eachother as Aiko hurried to tell her grandad it wasn´t what it seemed but just at that moment Kyo Yobotsu appeared from the kitchen wearing only shorts and a kitchen apron, he stop freeze when he saw the lot of them looking at him and hurried to say that it wasn´t what it seemed, but when somebody says that it usually is what it seems.

After Both Aiko and Kyo put on more proper clothes they enjoyed a nice breakfast all together, Miko was shooting poisoned looks at Kyo and at last she couldn´t stop herself and broke the tradition of letting the elders start the conversation -Kyo how could you do this? what an outrageous dishonor- but a hard look of Master Azuma reminded her that Kyo didn´t know a thing aboutthem all belonging to Ninja Clans so she apologized.

And Master Azuma finally spoke -My girl Aiko, you have come to age and it is your right to make your own decitions, Im not here to judge you, I have a feeling that this lad might someday save your life maybe more than once, and you Kyo you better treat her right, Im glad you´re not living in your uncle´s basement anymore, now before you lot go to school, where´s that piece of cake you saved for me my girl?
