*sigh* This morning, our loyal messengers have noted the site is slow as molasses in January. This usually comes from (a) a server problem or, more often, (b) one or more search engines crawling the site, which is now so massive it can mean a slowdown of our whole system.

FWIW, I've been on about 15 minutes and it's slightly better. Usually, either things improve when the crawler gets through, or Jot can kick the chassis and it perks along quicker. The demis are sending emails out like mad.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, and try to be patient without shooting the piano player!
