Hi everyone,

I'm very new to this site and am still feeling my way around. Although my main interest is in Roman history and the Latin language, I managed to create myself as a Greek (of which I have nary a word). Still, as many tutors in ancient Rome were Greeks, I suspect it may be fitting.....

I am an Australian and a 50 year old retired teacher (not history or Latin sadly, rather a weirdish combination of English, Physics and Computer Science).

I'd like to type more now, but I am just too eager to study more of this site. I'm sure it will be interesting and enjoyable, not to mention educational to "meet" and talk to you all!
