it is natural for us to ponder myths and stories and sacred texts. we're always wondering just how we began, what our original essence is...is it "science"? is it "biology"? is it "spiritual"? :)

the discerning soul winds down these spirals of thought and theory. each soul falls deeper into the Well, the Void...to finally find its own answer to its Source of Creation.

as for my own little soul *grin*...well, I don't believe we were
created "self-contained"....to me that implies boundaries,
separation...and I just don't see myself separated from my Divine
Source or from anything. I also don't believe that I replicate myself merely by biological means....my soul is replicating itself in a myriad ways (think of your "dream" soul experiencing other worlds/planes/forms), eternally, throughout both time and
space....and, of course, since all other souls are doing this, it
seems both simple and complex that we're all doing this together as one incredible being, with no separation in any creative act of ours. the Divine creating without thought to beginnings or theories or any form of limitation.

and it may be that one sacred text (the Bible) contains two versions of humanity's creation...but what about all the other holy texts or superb myths or deep spiritual paths? *wink* those stories might be different, might show similarities, might not. but they attest to our intense curiosity about our mysterious beginnings.

I think that the mystery of our creation is a beautiful blessing....to know all of what we're curious about would just bring us wholly back into the Oneness...and back to a state of abstractness that the human mind can hardly conceive of. at that point we wouldn't even be "human"! nor would we be wondering about our creation. :)

sooooo...*stops to ponder*...enjoy the mystery, but don't really try to solve it. discuss, share, quote sources or other writings....but ultimately....come to your own conclusion about your creation.
