    Hail!

I've returned to these lands after a number of years away. I was on AncientSites quite early, but on dialup in the 90s it was beyond my means, so I gave up quickly.

I've tidied up my oikos and invite you to drop by! I have a few goodies that the Greeks and Egyptians in particular may enjoy.

My Latin is fair but rusty. My Greek has slipped so badly that I've got to sit down with Chase and Phillips and start over. I puttered with hieroglyphics as a kid but only remember the most basic signs and a few words.

Right now I'm working on a graduate degree in comparative mythology, so I'm not sure how active I'll be. However, jotting off a few little articles here and there where I don't have to worry about MLA style or reams of footnotes sounds like a fun way to procrastinate.

I'll probably be lurking on the mythology and archaeology-related boards for Hellas, Egypt, and Rome, which are the civilizations I've studied and know best.

I used to roleplay quite a bit in various venues, but for the past few years I've been too busy to keep up with threads/stories that require regular posting.

So that's me. I'm looking forward to seeing how this place has evolved!
