Hail and well meet. Nice meeting every one. As is obvious I am a newb. I guess this is where I introduce myself. Just a word of warning. I have never participated in something like this and am not sure what is expected.

I am history buff. Purely on an amateur level. My main areas of interest are the dark-ages from the fall of the Western Roman Empire to early middle ages. More then that I am fascinated with Central Asian or Turko-Mongolian history and culture. There is something about going Turk and the Central Asian Nomadic life style that seems very appealing. If I could have made a Tartar profile I would have.

Currently I am studying Liechtenauer tradition of medieval long-sword fencing. I would like to study I.33 being a style that is closer to the time period I’m interested in but you have to make allowances for what the availability of training partners.

Arthurian Mythology and the history of Romano-Celtic history and culture is an other are of great interest.
