The man who should be king

He's fought his way through feilds of fear
    and screaming men: dying souls
crying, pleading, for some way out
    of the fight for life
    the flight from death
not wishing to meet their ancestors

That he will win this battle is becoming clear
and he turns from the broken
to stab and hack and chop
    his way through the enemy
    his sweat mexed with blood
some teeth broken and some missing

To leave this field is painfully near
his body feels leaden and numb
    but he continues to destroy
    and many meet their ancestors
along his way to the end of the battle
    and the blood soaked victory
    from the fields of fear
