I see no familiar face. There is no one here, not even an attendant whom I can recognize. Where are my many cousins? The many suitors all seem to be old men. There is no one young and handsome here. I am very disappointed. This may well prove to be a marriage in name only. I have many young handsome cousins. None of them are here. I have a terrible sense of dread, and a feeling deep in my heart that all the good times are over.
