Even as I looked over the edge at the scene below, I knew I had made a deadly mistake. I felt strong arms lift me up and pitch me over the side. There must have been two of them. They were hiding on each side of the potted plants. I did not get a good look at them. All of this ran through my mind, as I landed ka-plunk on the canopy of the front entrance to the Hotel Ritz. What a way to start the day? Or I should say, end it.
