(The instructional designer in me has to ask!)

We had the virtual classroom area at some point but it disappeared (or else, I've been too goofy to find it).

I could see maybe each world could have their own with an "expert teacher" in charge making sure everything looks right, is factual, follows a certain plan, whatever. The Scribes seem to have their hands full, so this would be an additional role/position in each world.

Why I bring this up--even though I don't visit as often as I'd like (hopefully, that's going to change!), I'm constantly referring people to the site. I do a lot of work with setting up distance learning and most of what's offered out there is very sterile-looking which affects student motivation. AW has a certain "feeling" to it as soon as you log in. That's why people keep coming back.

I think if there were some version of the old virtual classroom, where teachers could point their students to get access to WebQuests, PowerPoints, study guides, etc., it would bring in more activity and possibly breathe new life into the academic side of the site.

I do need to also thank you, Jot. This is the only site I've ever experienced that I can leave for a while and when I come back, it really does feel like I'm coming home. You've done an amazing thing here. (Thanks also to all the people who've helped make the site what it is!) I can't wait to see what the next ten years hold.
