I remember the quality of the assistance I received when I first stumbled across AS - searching for information about the restoration of Nero's Golden Palace - and the amusement provided by some wags (I note they are still here) fondly. I am interested in military history, satire and the opinions that keen students of ancient history (your good selves) have on contemporary affairs.
