I just found "the motherlode" of all birding sites on the web! Birder.com has it all. There's a scientific section that has extensive links to museums, bird taxonomy, and ornithological societies. The birdwatcher's section is what interested me most, which covers everything from designs for making birdhouses to rare bird alerts and hot spots updates. There's even a section for bird jokes and quizzes. Be prepared to spend a lot of time browsing and be sure to bookmark it because you'll definitely want to go back again.
