I just finished reading this book by Lionel Little Eagle. The book is about a lot of different things, any or all of which will speak to each person who reads it. A pipe bag has been passed down to Little Eagle, a Micmac. It was said that this pipe bag originally belonged to Crazy Horse. His search to authenticate this and return the pipe bag to its rightful home is the main storyline. Little Eagle takes us with him as he goes on this quest, which eventually leads to the Sun Dance. It was easy and quick to read, and beautifully written. Once you start it, you won't want to put it down. The story and people in it will stay with you long after the last page. Click here for the Greengrass Pipe Dancers page on Amazon, where you can read other reviews and order the book.
