Currently reading The History of the Ancient World by Susan Wise Bauer along with the Historical Atlas of Ancient Civilizations by John Haywood. Ms. Bauer's book is a fantastic read!
Finsihed The Handbook to Life in Ancient Mesopotamia by Stephen Bertman, Wonderful.
Have two books in the wings waiting for me: Gwendolyn Leick's Mesopotamia, The Invention of the City and John Hayes' A Manual of Sumerian Grammar & Texts.
So far, I have yet to be disappointed with any of the books I just purchased.
