I really appreciate you all sharing your experience and advice. For right now, I'm going with GIMP, mainly because its free. I downloaded it this morning and played for awhile. Downloading the help files too is definitely a good idea. They take up a load of space but are worth having on hand. Now I'm off to paint a Mona Lisa! LOL Thanks again.
