My mother is the sidhe-queen Befionn, my father was a cattle lord of Niafer. I am the head spearman when we go to war, the head herdsman when we are at peace. Among my holdings are the enchanted kine, a gift to the Niafer from my mother. The cows' presence on the land ensures our prosperity. Because I am half sidhe, I often see or hear things that others do not. I travel easily between the worlds, but prefer to stay in the world of flesh and blood, for the lure of my mother's home under the hill is strong. Perhaps one day I will return and live with her. Until then, my enchanted spears are sworn to the service of my father's blood.
