That stinking weed! No, not tobacco. Broom is impossible to eradicate, it's so tough bugs and animals leave it alone. The blooms are pretty though, specially the cream ones. It probably had more beneficial uses than we now remember, I imagine, for Geoffrey (father of Henry II) of the House of ANJOU, or ANGEVIN Dynasty, to start sporting a sprig somewhere on his person.
On bonnet or helmet, and going to war wearing it...If you say so.
Richard, Duke of York, was apparently the first to adopt "Plantagenet" around 1446(?)as a family name. After that, it was applied retroactively the Geoffrey's descendants..
If this is correct, how about this question: who was the last legitimate FEMALE Plantagenet?.
