Hi there. The question of cleaning out personas and groups has come up repeatedly.

Maybe there should be a middle ground: set a persona or group in "dormant" mode if nothing happened over so many years, so they actually become invisible, but in case the owner returns, they can "awaken" their dormant again. (And maybe there should even be an option: "view dormant groups")

Downside: the name space is blocked; upside: people don't keep stumbling into inactive parts of the site.
