is really fun and easy to do. I did this very quickly by going to a
site that sold antique calico fabrics. These patterns are very old
and must by law, be free of copyright by now. It's certainly no problem
to cut and paste the little shapes into the template and you can
get some instant gratification and great results. Of course being
me, I beveled each shape in a bevel and emboss filter to make it
look quilted, but that isn't necessary and will probably get lost
as the squares get translated to smaller sizes in a finished quilt
anyway.
Try it with some patterns. It's a lot easier than it looks.
