Kaia wiped the blood from her face-- it was running profusely from a cut on her head into her eyes and down her neck. Damn, she thought. This was a clean shift,too. No matter. The battle was still raging and a number of new faces (new to her at least) seemed to have joined the fight-- the Vandals were still coming but their body count was mounting seriously.

In an effort to keep her eyes clear, Kaia took her scarf and wrapped it around her forehead in order to see without the red. Her arm and chest... well, they would have to wait until later. She searched around on the floor for a moment then grabbed up her dagger and sword.

Only one or two of the attackers seemed to dare the back door now, and those were being finished off easily. No, even though the inside of the Red Boar looked like a mass burial pit, those idiots were coming in through the front. Too bad for them, she thought as she went to the front door. The next Vandal that came in through the window found himself on the sharp end of Kaia's sword and that was his end.
