If we started during the ripe corn moon,
we could have a nice warm quilt ready for the cold nights of the harvest
moon festival. This could be an ongoing activity which ties the two together.
I could put up a plain star pattern like this. Members could decorate
it very simply by adding colors of their choice as shown.
 
Or, it could be as fancy and complicated as wanted by adding a collage
of patterned scraps or any sort of decorations .
As the quilt grows, I could put the squares together one by one and
we could watch our quilt being made. Members could write their names
on the squares for a lasting record of their contribution. I think a
great many people would want to add a square to the Tsalagi quilt as
it began to grow. What think you?
