Neotne, with a male, this could be a sign of urinary infection or blockage by stones...get him examined by a vet right away...too long a delay can be fatal. If it turns out to be blockage, pills I think can sometimes dissolve them...but get him to the vet as soon as you can. A friend's cat had the same problem, and he said if she'd waited more than a few days longer, it could have killed her cat. The cat is entirely back to normal now, and much happier.
