Very interesting post. I believe I am correct in saying that you have a deep resignation about the information that Hesiodos is giving you?
That is understandable, by any means. I can remember feeling that same feeling about Ozzy when I saw him on television being a fool. I thought he was pretty cool. But seeing this made me sad. Were all my notions wrong?
Of course they were. The only way you will grow as a person is by being able to grow as a person. You have to break down these walls of oppression and let it free.
My thoughts on the Titans are far and few between. I think the Gods of Olympus were ancient cheifs where stories handed down through generations made them out to be greater than they actually were. Perhaps the Titans were the gods of the people who were conquered by the people who believed in the Gods.
Talk was big in the ancient world, and the bigger the story, the more clout you had. I think that we would have to look back into the early days of Greece to answer this question.
