Back into the little room that I shared with Ephiny I decide I am more than in need of a rest. Taking my little bunk I drift off to sleep very fast.
The night was wearing on and I feel the ship slipping up and down in the waves. The night was without a star or the moon to help guide any lost soul.
The rest was not peaceful. The dream came fast and strong. With the violent storm hitting and lighting striking the other vessel. The gods were in a rage! The ship didn’t stand a chance, it was sinking, and most the crew was taken down with it. I could see two survivors, maybe three; the one woman didn’t look like she was doing to well, as the man pulled them onto broken boards. He was the man I am searching for! And the lady he was trying to save was Caeseria! He held her up and tried to push her and another woman on the board to safety. Before him lay an island, an island I knew only to well. It is the island of Lesvos.
Waking with a start, I jump from my bunk and make my way up the small narrow passage and beat on the door of Caeserias oldest brother. He opens his the door slowly, I demand that we change course. In his sleepish state I barely notice that he is standing before me in a sheer shirt down to his knees. “Turn the ship, I am telling you we need to act now!”
