Untitled Document
The works of man always disappear. The
forest always prevails. it is the nature of our planet. The humans with
their short sighted perception of time, think that they have destroyed
the forest, Such hubris! The forest is always there waiting. Notice the
little sprouts in the cracks in the sidewalk; examine the weed trees
springing up by the foundations of the buildings.Cut them out and cut
them out again; they always come back. The forest is there waiting. In
the end, it returns. Jocassee has been there for sixty million years.
Man has attacked it for a mere two hundred and fifty. It is a tiny blip
and nothing more. Now man has gone from Jocassee and Jocassee has scarcely
noticed. Remember the great time spans and try to overcome silly little
human perceptions of time. You have achieved nothing. The forest always
returns. The forest is life and life eternally prevails.
